THE RMI AUDITOR GENERAL QUESTINED NEARLY $1 MILLION IN KWAJALEIN ATOLL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY SPENDING IN FY 2000, BUT KADA SAYS ITS DESIRE TO SETTLE THESE QUESTIONED COSTS HAS BEEN STYMIED BY AN UNSESPONSIVE US INTERIOR DEPARTMENT. THE LATEST AUDIT REPORT5 TO THE NITIJELA QUESTIONS KADA USE OF : $188,106 FRO ADMINSTRATION COSTS, SAYHING THAT COMPACT FUNDING FOR CAPITAL PROJECTRS LIMITS ADMINSTRATIOAN COSTS TO 1.5 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL FUNDS RECEIVED.
